Summertime Watermelon Smoothie

Did you know that watermelon has more lycopene (a powerful antioxidant) than tomatoes? It can also relieve muscle soreness in athletes. Here are some other things you probably did not know about watermelon:

  • It is more than 90% water.
  • It is both a fruit and vegetable, like tomatoes.
  • It also comes in a yellow color with yellow flesh.

Recipe:

1 serving French Vanilla INVIGOR8 shake (2 scoops)
1 cup water, nonfat milk, unsweetened almond milk or rice milk)
3 cups of seedless watermelon, chopped

Put all of the ingredients into the blender with the ice, blend for 30 seconds or until mostly smooth. The more ice, the thicker it gets. Enjoy!
